Responsibilities
- Define, develop, and maintain strategic plans for IT sourcing to align with the Bank's overall strategy and financial commitments.
Leverage extensive market research, industry communities, and external relationships to provide critical insights and advice on IT supplier strengths and weaknesses for various projects and new engagements.
Formulate, progress, finalize, and operate commercial matters to meet the Bank's IT needs, securing optimal contractual arrangements to harness efficiency, effectiveness, and minimize the Bank's exposure to risk.
Oversee the development of appropriate Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and objectives between business units and IT suppliers.
Identify and drive cost savings initiatives, as well as lead the investigation, analysis, and resolution of complex disputes with IT suppliers.
Proactively participate in IT Sourcing Industry forums, conduct, and interpret research on emerging industry trends and technologies to enable the Bank to proactively leverage its market position.
Accountable for:
Efficient and accurate management of IT commercial agreements.
Effective and precise development and evaluation of IT sourcing strategies.
Successful negotiation of complex IT commercial arrangements and dispute resolution on behalf of the Bank.
Educating business units on their negotiated obligations related to IT contracts.
Continuous improvement of IT sourcing processes based on performance analysis and industry best practices.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Manage and review approved IT requisitions, ensuring compliance with Power to Sign Authority and internal policies.
Lead the process of obtaining competitive quotations from a minimum of three qualified IT suppliers to secure the best price, optimal service, and foster strong prospective relationships.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective IT vendors.
Collaborate closely with business units to understand their IT needs and develop tailored procurement solutions.
Work in partnership with IT vendors to ensure timely achievement of project targets and service delivery.
Review and ensure IT contract agreements, especially the commercial aspects, are in accordance with agreed-upon terms.
Ensure the completeness and accuracy of Order Forms before approval within the COUPA system.
Guarantee timely renewal of IT contract agreements.
Collaborate with the vendor management team to ensure all IT vendors partnering with the bank fulfill necessary due diligence documentation and compliance requirements.
Requirements:
Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in IT procurement, sourcing, and project management, preferably within a large multinational banking or financial services environment.
Proven track record of managing complex IT sourcing initiatives and negotiating high-value contracts.
Bachelor's degree (S1) in Business Administration, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
In-depth knowledge of IT Procurement concepts, including hardware, software, cloud services, and IT consulting.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite for daily tasks and reporting.
Exceptional negotiation skills with a proven ability to achieve favorable terms and outcomes.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and geographically dispersed environment.
Familiarity with relevant banking regulations and compliance standards related to IT procurement.
