The Portfolio Management Group is responsible for the oversight of Dimensional's investment offering and the implementation of Dimensional’s investment philosophy. Portfolio Management interacts and collaborates closely with several departments across the firm with the goal of consistently managing with accuracy the quality and integrity of our investments on behalf of our clients. 

Within Portfolio Management, the Investment Stewardship group implements proxy voting policies, engages with portfolio companies, research governance issues and industry trends, and communicates Dimensional’s approach to investment stewardship to internal and external audiences. The team works closely with several stakeholders to ensure best practices are maintained and our clients’ objectives are met.

Dimensional is seeking an individual with strong data management and technical skills to oversee our global proxy voting operations and reporting functions. The role will report to the Investment Stewardship Operations Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Identify opportunities for improved operational efficiency and work with relevant stakeholders to develop required tools and implement revised processes.
• Ensure appropriate documentation and training on tools and processes.
• Execute operational proxy voting tasks in line with established procedures to ensure votes are being cast in an accurate and timely manner.
• Provide accurate and complete data for internal reports, public reporting, regulatory filings, RFPs, and client questionnaires.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 2+ years of experience working in a team environment in a corporate setting, ideally within the financial services industry
• Strong analytical skills, including SQL and Excel

• Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality reports for internal and external distribution
• Demonstrated ability to work with a variety of stakeholders, including technology teams

Desired Qualifications:  

• Experience with proxy voting operations
• Python or other programming languages
• Microsoft VBA experience
