About The Role
The Senior Associate, Finance (Financial Reporting) supports the financial reporting, consolidation, and regulatory compliance functions within a fast-growing FinTech environment. This role ensures accurate and timely reporting while navigating complex financial products, digital transactions, and evolving regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
- Perform variance analysis and provide insights on revenue streams (e.g., transaction fees, interest income)
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of high-volume digital transaction data (e.g., payments, wallets platforms)
- Support regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., submissions to central banks or financial authorities)
- Assist in preparing reports for stakeholders & day-to-day operations and team management.
- Work closely with Product, Operations, and Tech teams to understand financial data flows
- Manage and execute ad hoc assignments, strategic initiatives, and cross-functional projects as directed by management
- Supervise and guide team members to ensure performance targets are met
- Monitor workflow, productivity, and quality of output.
- Identify and implement AI-driven tools to automate repetitive reporting tasks, enhance the analysis of high-volume digital transaction data, and improve the overall efficiency of the finance function.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA) preferred
- 4–7 years of experience in financial reporting, preferably in FinTech, banking, or audit
- Strong knowledge of IFRS (experience with financial instruments is a plus)
- Familiarity with digital payments, lending, or blockchain-based products is advantageous
- Experience with ERP systems and data tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, SQL, Power BI) - Preferred
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret large datasets
- High attention to detail in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Tech-savvy mindset with an interest in using AI productivity tools to streamline financial workflows, improve data accuracy, and support faster decision-making in a high-growth environment.
