Job Summary:

The Senior Associate, Finance will support budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting activities for the company’s business operations. Working closely with the Director, Finance, this role partners with business leaders to deliver accurate financial analysis, operational insights, and reporting that supports day to day decision making and long-term planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Support monthly financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting processes for business operations, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Prepare financial analyses, variance explanations, and performance summaries used in discussions with business partners and leadership.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining operational performance metrics, dashboards, and analytical tools.
  • Build a working understanding of operational drivers, revenue streams, and cost structures to enhance analysis and reporting.
  • Contribute to performance review materials by compiling data, identifying trends, and summarizing key insights.
  • Support preparation of materials used in Board reporting and executive‑level presentations.
  • Participate in efforts to improve reporting processes, enhance data quality, and increase efficiency across the Business Finance function.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to support operational decision making and management review.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or other financial related area. 
  • 3-5 years of related work experience to include banking, accounting, auditing and/or financial reporting.
  • Ability to develop effective ongoing partnerships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and reporting timeframes.
  • Experience with NetSuite Planning and Budgeting, SmartView or similar management reporting system preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Specialized, technical skills to include financial analysis, data mining and manipulation, and statistical analysis.
  • Effective communication skills with business leaders at different levels, frequently sharing information with others while listening to and understanding their points of view.
  • Excellent in thinking through and solving problems step by step, often looking for creative solutions to a problem.
