Job Description

Finance Systems Analyst at Checkout.com:

This role will sit in the Finance Transformation Team, reporting to the Manager, Financial Systems. The purpose of this team is  to enable the Finance Team to  deliver on Checkout.com’s objectives  through system implementations, process re-engineering (covering controls and risk management) and operating model design. As part of this team, you will be focused on managing our key finance system, Workday, Zip, Emburse, Adaptive, and Kyriba. You will be providing Application Management Support (AMS) as well as partnering with key users of the system to continually improve the system to end users. You will also provide support to some of the Finance Transformation initiatives based on your experience and career goals

What you will be doing:

Providing AMS services, which includes

  • Incident management
  • Release management
  • End user training
  • Creating and maintaining online help documents
  • Vendor coordination
  • Testing (UAT and regression)
  • Managing user subscriptions

Supporting the wider Finance Transformation initiative, which may include

  • Working with our software implementation partner to deliver new modules or new features
  • Program Management Office responsibilities
  • Process mapping
  • Control assessment and enhancement
  • Process automation
  • Policy and process creation
  • Confidently analysing data to make recommendations and informed decisions

Qualifications

  • Financial qualification (CIMA,ACCA or equivalent)
  • Experience of using and/or supporting enterprise financial systems
  • Good understanding of integration approaches.
  • Operational finance experience with AP, P2P, Expense function.
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent at communicating to stakeholders and team members to identify issues and propose solutions.
  • Able to identify problems, define the root cause, determine the solution and propose the solution.
  • Able to translate technical expertise into solutions and process guidance to implement improvements or address user issues.
  • Preferred experience / qualification
  • Experience of administration of the following systems Zip,
  • Emburse, Workday, Kyriba or Adaptive
  • Experience of VBA or SQL.
  • Experience of using low code integration platforms
