  • Escalate material risks appropriately through the governance framework, ensuring timely and accurate communication of emerging or heightened risk exposures.

  • Lead or contribute to thematic reviews, lessons-learned exercises and validation activities, ensuring findings are robust, evidence-based and implemented in conjunction with relevant Corporation teams.

  • Contribute to regular and ad hoc financial risk reporting, including ORSA submissions, Committee papers and market-wide insights.

  • Respond flexibly and effectively to ad hoc analysis requests and projects, ensuring high‑quality, timely outputs for senior stakeholders and leadership.

  • Actuarial, technical risk management or similar background desirable (qualification beneficial but not essential).

  • Understanding of the Lloyd’s and wider insurance market, including catastrophe risk, reinsurance and exposure management.

  • Experience engaging with and constructively challenging senior stakeholders.

  • Proven experience operating within or alongside risk management frameworks, processes, or oversight functions.

  • Experience contributing to risk reporting, stress & scenario testing, or financial risk analysis is advantageous.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, capable of building strong relationships and influencing senior stakeholders to achieve effective risk outcomes.

  • Effective time and workload management, comfortable delivering high‑quality outputs under pressure and managing competing priorities.

  • Project management capability, ensuring timely delivery of BAU and change projects (e.g., implementation of new processes or frameworks).

  • Progress towards (or interest in) a relevant professional qualification (Actuarial, CFA, CERA, FRM or similar) is desirable but not required.
