Skills Required
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL, Cassandra, or ClickHouse; multiple databases are preferred
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, partitioning, replication, and distributed database concepts
- Hands-on experience writing and optimizing SQL, PL/pgSQL, and/or CQL queries
- Experience with backup and restore, disaster recovery, and point-in-time recovery strategies in production environments
- Working experience in Linux or Unix environments
- Shell or Python scripting skills
- Understanding of database security, role-based access control, and compliance frameworks
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a 24/7 production support environment
