The Senior Associate – Data & Digital Transformation is a crucial role within the Data & Digital team, dedicated to developing and implementing data-driven solutions that drive business growth and operational efficiency. Reporting directly to the Vice President, Data & Digital Transformation, this role is instrumental in advancing the company's strategic transformation objectives through the application of data science, machine learning (ML), artificial intelligence (AI), and business intelligence (BI). This role will be based in our Nashville, TN office on a hybrid basis.
What You Will Do:
- Develop and implement data-driven solutions, utilizing Python and other relevant technologies to solve business challenges.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to apply AI and generative AI technologies in practical, real-world scenarios.
- Maintain and manage code repositories using GitHub, ensuring high standards of code quality and version control.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of the Data Governance framework, working with IT to ensure accurate representation of business requirements.
- Analyze complex datasets to extract actionable insights and effectively communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in data science and AI, integrating new tools and techniques into ongoing projects.
- Address and resolve technical issues that may impede project progress, ensuring timely and successful delivery of solutions.
- Provide data-related support and expertise to other Transformation projects, ensuring alignment with the strategic vision.
What You Will Have:
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in data science, AI, and statistical analysis, preferably within the Insurance, Reinsurance, or Financial Services sectors.
- Proven proficiency in Python and experience managing code with GitHub.
- Practical experience with AI and generative AI technologies, particularly within AWS or similar environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration across all organizational levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on developing and implementing innovative solutions to complex challenges.
- Robust analytical abilities, contributing to data-driven decision-making and organizational effectiveness.
- Experience with BI tools / Power BI (preferred).
- Experience with DBT (preferred).
- Experience with Dagster (preferred).

The base salary range for this role is listed below and will be commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates may differ based on the cost of labor in that location. In addition to base salary, all employees are eligible for an annual bonus based on company and individual performance as well as a generous benefits package.
