As a Customer Marketing Governance Lead in the Customer Marketing team, you will build and run a governance process that helps teams deliver effective, on-brand, well-measured customer marketing campaigns across channels.
Job responsibilities
- Establish and manage a customer marketing governance framework across targeting, segmentation, offers, messaging, channel mix, and measurement
- Lead stakeholder change management and communications to drive process adoption and clarity of roles
- Serve as the primary point of contact for marketers participating in governance reviews
- Manage the governance platform workflow and submission process from intake through approval
- Prioritize submissions, conduct readiness checks, and coordinate weekly senior leader review forums
- Build agendas, distribute pre-reads, facilitate reviews, and document decisions and approvals
- Collect, synthesize, and share governance outcomes to improve future campaign strategy and execution
- Partner with content, brand, marketing, and strategy teams to integrate new tools and capabilities into the process
- Identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and improve governance ways of working
- Ensure campaigns and processes follow applicable controls and procedures
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- At least 5 years of experience in marketing, marketing operations, strategy consulting, or project management
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex work in a large, matrixed organization and influence outcomes without direct authority
- Strong project management, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives at once in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in financial services, payments, lending, or another regulated industry
