About the Team
The Retention Marketing team at DoorDash ANZ comprises three full time teammates, looking to double this number to help scale the fast growing business. Experimentating and iterating on ideas to get them ready for scale, building world class experiences with consumer-first approaches and having a lot of fun while doing all of this, is the bedrock of this team's culture. The team geeks out on moving revenue-tied metrics through their work, but more importantly, it's a squad of problem solvers who're on a mission to retain the customer and build programs that make them come back to the app more often.
About the Role
As a Senior Associate, CRM Marketing, you will help create strategic programs and communications to increase retention and engagement of our customers using email, SMS, push notifications, in-app messaging, and promotions. You will focus on critical segments across the customer lifecycle, identifying ways to surface the right message to the right customer at the right time in the right channel. This will include personalised content and recommendations, triggered customised comms based on user behaviour, and strategies around our largest brand launches. We are hiring for two positions for this role, one within our Dasher CRM Marketing team and one within our New Verticals CRM Marketing team. Based on which team you are selected for, you will either report to our Senior Manager of Dasher Marketing or our Manager of Retention Marketing.
You're excited about this opportunity because you will…
- Manage the setup and monitoring of ad hoc, triggered, and transactional programs, including optimization of existing programs and development of new ones
- Test and schedule emails, push notifications, in-app messaging and promotions
- Manage communications reporting dashboards, monitor trends, and make recommendations based on results.
- Create a framework for rapid testing in CRM channels
- Establish a working relationship with partners in our Product, Operations, Analytics and Strategy teams
- Stay current on marketing best practices in email, push and SMS and share insights with the broader marketing team
We're excited about you because…
- You have 4+ years of experience in CRM or email marketing
- You have deep familiarity with CRM technology, including ESPs/marketing automation platforms
- You have basic knowledge of analytics tools (SQL proficiency a plus), HTML, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Sigma)
- You have knowledge of email industry best practices, including contact strategies, targeting and segmentation, A/B testing, and analytics
- You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
