Senior Associate, Corporate Communications, Products & Services Public Relations
Initial point of contact for our customers, who want to use the corporate news channels to deliver their messages. Helps the customer include enterprise-wide communications elements in the project/LOB strategic communications plan and executes news items in corporate news channels. Supports an editorial staff with publication of daily news articles to company intranet homepage. Makes frequent updates to the website and troubleshoot errors. Creates graphics that both illustrates editorial content and supports corporate brand and style. Maintains distribution lists for associate e-mail communications and publish notices on as-needed basis. Monitors feedback and metrics to ensure end-user needs are being met.
Responsibilities:• Scheduling and planning a range of corporate-wide communications for a number of key corporate communication channels. Managing the flow of communications traffic within this calendar and agreeing target groups for such traffic.• Editing news and information from a range of internal sources, including staff group clients, other communicators, and our IT teams.• Implementing processes and procedures to enable efficient, cross-functional, multi-site work.• Consulting with trainers on online training tools and messages• Writing e-mail and intranet communications for associates; written communications for call center; write and publish items on PIC Press; maintain site and updates; publish online content using HTML and CMS software Level: Associate

Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor's Degree• Bachelors Degree in Communications, News Writing, HTML Coding and Publication, Journalism or English• 2 years of experience in Publishing corporate communications• 2 years of experience in Managing multiple projects, programs and tasks• 2 years of experience in Scheduling and planning communication events and activities• 2 years of experience in Consultation on communications needs/multi-faceted campaign development• 2 years of experience in Implementing processes and procedures to enable the smooth running of the department
Preferred Qualifications:• 5 years of experience in Publishing corporate communications• 5 years of experience in Managing multiple projects, programs and tasks

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $76,400 - $87,100 for Communications Associate
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
