Senior Specialist Financial Crime Compliance Data Analyst

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Specialist Financial Crime Compliance Data Analyst to join our EMEA Financial Crime Compliance team. This role will focus on supporting data management and analytics across the EMEA FCC Regulatory Reporting and Risk Assessment Process. This role is located in Manchester – hybrid (4 days in office per week).
The role supports our Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) programme.
Responsibilities
EMEA FCC Regulatory Reporting
- Assist in the compilation of data and responses for the Annual FCC reporting for the EMEA Legal Entities
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and completeness checks across reporting outputs
- Support the production of recurring EMEA FCC reports through structured data preparation
- Maintain and enhance data trackers and reporting templates used across EMEA FCC
- Support development (through submission of business requirements) of repeatable and scalable reporting solutions
- Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, consistency, and auditability of EMEA FCC regulatory reporting
- Identify, document and track data quality issues
Work with the central Risk & Compliance Analytics and Reporting team to resolve data quality issues
FCC Risk Assessment
- Support data collection and preparation for FCC Risk Assessments across AML, Sanctions, ABC and other themes
- Perform data quality checks and validation on risk assessment inputs and scoring outputs
- Work with Risk & Compliance Analytics and Reporting team to validate metrics and enhance automation opportunities within the assessment process
- Track and support remediation of data-related issues identified during assessments
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in data analysis / large data handling within financial services or compliance
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, data manipulation)
- Experience with data tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL, Tableau, Python) will be desirable
- Understanding of data governance, data quality, and controls
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large and complex datasets
- Ability to translate data outputs into clear, structured reporting outputs

Skills Required
- Practical experience with Financial Crime Compliance including AML, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC), ATE and CPF
- Experience managing regulatory reporting governance and maintaining regulatory reporting procedures
- Experience supporting or conducting Financial Crime Risk Assessments (FCRA) and control effectiveness evaluations
- Experience tracking and managing remediation issues using ServiceNow
- Experience performing data validation, reconciliations and quality checks for regulatory submissions
- Experience liaising with Money Laundering Reporting Officers (MLROs), Data Analytics teams and senior governance committees
- Ability to work on-site in Manchester four days per week
- Experience drafting enterprise-wide AML and Sanctions risk assessments and preparing materials for senior governance
