Job Description Summary
 

The Collaboration Systems Engineer is a developing subject matter expert, responsible for ensuring that client solution requirements are resolved in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities:

• Owns larger portions of an installation, break/fix incidents at a low to medium level of complexity during project lifecycle.
• Takes responsibility for problem resolution and troubleshooting during project lifecycle.
• Escalates complex problems to the relevant third parties.
• Assists with the documentation of standard operating procedures relating to installations and fixes during ops handover.
• Compiles and maintain project administration (Time Capture and feedback to stakeholders).
• Conducts elementary presentations and user trainings within the customer's organization
• Expected to take leadership from senior resources on relevant technologies according to specialization and best practice.
• Provides support and work alongside with L3 and L4 engineers on deployments and support.
• Responsible for technical support of the customers with Collaboration related technologies.

Knowledge and Attributes:

• Good verbal and written communication skills in Hungarian and English (B1) languages
• Understanding of IP Telephony technologies and audio/video conferencing solutions.
• Good problem solving and analytic skills to isolate problems.
• Developing knowledge share, coaching and mentoring of L1 engineers on a regular basis.
• The ability to work overtime when required.
• Category B driving license

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing or Electrical Engineering or a related field is advantageous
• Valid Voice/Collaboration related IPT vendor certification is advantageous.

Required experience:

• Moderate level experience in technical implementation, specific to Collaboration technologies.
• Moderate level experience engaging with clients and conducting user trainings.
• Moderate level experience with IP Telephony solutions in enterprise deployments
• Moderate level experience with voice gateways: SIP, digital PRI/E1, analog FXO/FXS.
• Moderate level experience with Border Element
• Moderate level working experience with Contact Centers is an advantageous
• Moderate level experience with virtualization, specifically VMware, Cisco UCS B/C-Series servers.
• Moderate level experience with PKI security certificates
• Moderate level working experience with OnPrem and SaaS Collaboration solutions from any vendors are advantageous
