Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Sling TV Brand Marketing team is responsible for defining and shaping the Sling TV brand. This team drives the brand strategy, marketing experience plan, and messaging, ensuring brand consistency across all marketing initiatives. This role is central to creating compelling brand experiences and associated experience plans with the goal to build brand awareness and cultivate consideration for the Sling brand. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for the evolving TV landscape, capable of translating consumer insights into impactful marketing frameworks that resonate across diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the strategic development and execution of the annual brand strategy, messaging, experience and learning plan
- Drive the Sling brand's annual brand planning process: develop agenda, manage presentations, and oversee logistics
- Partner with creative agencies to develop integrated, breakthrough creative concepts and campaign guidelines
- Oversee the SOW development process for agency partners
- Develop strategic segment marketing plans, including audience definition and creative direction
- Lead the development of compelling marketing messages and claims for new product launches related to areas of responsibility
- Identify and champion opportunities to leverage AI to enhance brand marketing efforts
- Lead the development and execution of cross-promotional marketing strategies in collaboration with key content, distribution, and brand partners to amplify reach and drive engagement
- Co-manage the brand marketing budget (forecasting, tracking, accruals, optimization)
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- 4+ years progressive experience in brand marketing, strategy, or campaign management (TV/streaming preferred)
- Experience with AI marketing tools (preferred)
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of marketing metrics
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Passion for the evolving TV landscape and consumer behavior
- Prior agency management experience (preferred)

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $83,950.00/Year - $119,900.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
