The Senior Associate, ALM Analytics plays an essential role in the pricing and due diligence of potential new business acquisitions.

What You Will Do:

· Develop quantitative techniques for evaluating select prospective and existing investments.

· Assist in the development of models used to construct portfolios and reinvestment assumptions for evaluation of new deals and optimization of existing blocks.

· Assist with the preparation of written analysis & presentation materials to assess new & existing investment opportunities.

· Work with risk-management & ALM as part of developing analysis for existing portfolio and new opportunities.

· Develop new asset models or test and develop assumptions for vendor models for key asset classes.

· Assist with due diligence on asset portfolios & ad-hoc analysis that may be acquired in future acquisitions and develop asset strategies for any future reinsurance liabilities.


What You Will Have:

· Bachelor's degree in math, computer science, statistics, or a related quantitative field; Master’s degree preferred.

· 5+ years of experience in insurance asset management, fixed income asset management, or liability driven investing.

· Strong analytical capabilities.

· Proficiency in Python and SQL is required.

· Knowledge of Bloomberg and advanced Excel skills is required.

· Knowledge of sophisticated data science techniques (regressions, clustering, classification) is recommended.

· Very strong written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills to clearly articulate sophisticated concepts, ideas and processes.

· Presence and credibility to present effectively to key senior management.



The base salary range for this role is listed below and will be commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates may differ based on the cost of labor in that location. In addition to base salary, all employees are eligible for an annual bonus based on company and individual performance as well as a generous benefits package.  

Base Salary Range

$110,000$180,000 USD
