This role will be a key member of the Life Actuarial team and will support the development and enhancement of Inforce Management analysis and reporting tools.
What You Will Do:
- Develop new business profitability reporting and analysis for flow pricing reinsurance agreements.
- Provide validation for recurring reinsurance settlements and financial reporting and analysis on emerging experience.
- Develop, report, and provide analysis for key performance indicators across the Fortitude Re product portfolio.
- Improve processes through use of data integration, analytics, and visualizations.
- Assist in the integration of new blocks of business on-boarded via reinsurance transaction or acquisition.
- Assist in the development of best estimate assumptions for non-guaranteed elements across a variety of Inforce products.
- Execute on various ad hoc projects.
- Maintain status in Fortitude Re Actuarial Development Program making progress toward Fellowship attainment.
- Collaborate across actuarial, finance, and data teams.
What You Will Have:
- 5+ years of actuarial experience.
- Undergraduate degree is required.
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA).
- Demonstrated success working in cross-functional collaborative teams.
- Highly motivated, results- and goal-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects independently and with a high level of discipline.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency with data analytics and visualization applications.

The base salary range for this role is listed below and will be commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates may differ based on the cost of labor in that location. In addition to base salary, all employees are eligible for an annual bonus based on company and individual performance as well as a generous benefits package.

$135,000—$150,000 USD
