As a Senior Associate in our Accounts department, you will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in accounting principles, along with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
KEY DELIVERABLES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Handle end-to-end e-commerce accounting, including sales, returns, discounts, commissions, and taxes across multiple online channels.
● Prepare daily/weekly/monthly e-commerce sales reports (channel-wise/store-wise/product-wise).
● Consolidate sales and settlement data from various sales channels & marketplaces.
● Perform inventory accounting including GRN posting, stock transfers, transfer orders, and stock adjustments.
● Conduct inventory audits at warehouses/stores; prepare audit reports and ensure correction of variances.
● Reconcile payment gateway settlements (UPI, cards, wallets, etc.) with sales reports and bank statements; track short/failed/refund cases.
● Work on OMS for orders, invoicing, and ensuring correct flow from order to accounting entry.
● Manage PO creation and procurement via OMS; coordinate with vendors for bills, credit notes, and payments.
● Understand POS/physical store sales and ensure accurate accounting of cash/card/UPI collections.
● Travel within and outside the city for audits, process checks, and on-ground verification.
Requirements
● Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
● 2 to 4 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
● Accounting & Reconciliation, E-commerce Accounting
● Inventory Management, Stock Audit
● GST Basics, Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
● Order Management Systems (OMS)
● Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
● Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills Required
