Job Description:

Role Overview 

We are looking for a Senior Art Director with a strong branding background someone who thinks in systems, builds visual identities with intention, and understands how brands live across every touchpoint. 

You will lead the development of brand identities, visual systems, and strategic creative directions for some of the region’s most visible brands, while also supporting integrated campaign work across digital, social, OOH, and brand communications. We are looking for someone who can translate positioning and strategy into distinctive, scalable visual worlds while ensuring creative consistency across both branding and campaign execution. 

This is not a role for someone who waits to be fully briefed. You are expected to interpret brand challenges, identify creative opportunities, and proactively develop strategic visual territories and identity directions. 

AI tools are part of your creative process: you use them to think faster, explore wider, and present sharper. 

Key Responsibilities 

1.Brand Identity & Visual Systems 

  • Lead the development of comprehensive brand identities from strategy through execution  

  • Create visual systems that extend consistently across digital, print, packaging, spatial, social, and brand communications  

  • Develop logos, typography systems, color palettes, iconography, patterns, illustration styles, and broader brand assets  

  • Translate brand positioning and strategy into distinctive visual territories  

  • Build brand guidelines and scalable identity systems that work across multiple applications and markets  

  • Ensure consistency, craft, and strategic alignment across all brand touchpoints  

  • Develop presentation-ready moodboards, identity directions, and visual narratives 

 

 

2. Campaign Concepting & Art Direction 

• Concept and develop integrated creative campaigns from brief to final production: 
– Film, OOH, social, digital, and experiential 
• Develop visual territories and campaign systems that flex across formats 
• Present and defend creative work to internal leadership and clients 

3. Creative Leadership 

• Mentor and direct junior Art Directors and designers, giving clear and actionable feedback 
• Work closely with Copywriters and Strategists to keep concept and execution aligned 
• Contribute to pitch and new business presentations under deadline pressure 
• Confidence to push back when the work needs protecting 

4. AI-Powered Creation 

• Use AI tools to rapidly generate visual directions, test territories, and build presentation-quality moodboards: 
Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Magnific 
• Write detailed, intentional AI image prompts that reflect a clear art direction point of view 
• Integrate AI-generated imagery into client-ready presentations with judgment: 
Know when to use it raw, when to enhance it, and when to commission the real thing 
• Use LLMs to stress-test campaign ideas, sharpen narrative structures, and develop copy directions: 
• Proactively bring new AI capabilities into the team’s workflow 

5. Speed, Adaptation & Scale 

• Deliver fast turnarounds for social and performance content 
• Build full creative presentations  territories, headlines, visual system not just individual executions 
• Localize and adapt work for English and Arabic markets 
 Maintain quality under pressure across multiple simultaneous briefs 

Required Skills 

Software 

• Adobe Creative Suite 
• Figma 
• Keynote / PowerPoint for presentation builds 

AI Tools 

• Midjourney / Adobe Firefly / Magnific / Gemini 
• Comfort with AI image generation and enhancement workflows 
• LLM tools for creative strategy and concept development 

Experience Profile 

 7+ years as an Art Director in an agency setting 
• Portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual thinking across campaign formats 
• Proven experience art directing brand films, photo shoots, and content productions 
• GCC / Saudi market understanding 

Personality & Mindset 

• Leads with ideas, follows through with execution 
• Curious about AI and actively integrates emerging tools into the creative process 
• Strong visual taste and storytelling instinct 
• Fast, reliable, and self-driven  comfortable in the room when it counts
