Job Description
Join Link Snacks, Inc. as a Senior Art Director / Designer – Digital and Social Media and become an integral member of our Marketing Creative Services team. This position will focus on crafting ideas for the full range of Link Snacks brands and then executing those ideas across social media platforms, ecommerce, and more.
As Senior Art Director / Designer, you will be responsible for developing and producing industry-leading, award-worthy concepts. We’re looking for someone well-versed in pop culture and social media trends who wants to apply that knowledge to deliver effective, on-brand and on-strategy creative. The ideal candidate has a passion for big ideas and proven experience with the craft of art direction that’s needed to bring those ideas to life.
Working alongside a Copywriter and under the direction of an Executive Creative Director, you will take ownership of ideation and execution of concepts that can be used across all channels for a variety of brands and products. You will be accountable for being a steward of the brand guidelines and company values. The responsibilities of this position shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following:
Conceptual Ideation, Development, Execution – Create and design original digitally-focused content in collaboration with our social media and ecommerce marketing teams. As part of our internal Creative Services team, you will collaborate with our external creative agencies and internal teams to create shareable content that will drive engagement and growth while ensuring consistency of brand and creative across digital consumer touch points.
Asset Execution – Responsible for facilitating revisions and feedback from internal and external cross-functional partners. Work collaboratively to effectively communicate marketing initiatives and design project status as part of a service-orientated function. Collaborate with agency partners and freelancers.
Planning and Management - Responsibly meet established deadlines, manage, and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously. Work collaboratively as a member of the marketing team and cross-functionally to ensure all designs align with brand guidelines. Assist in the development of the Creative Services team to achieve goals and objectives
Content Management – Responsible for archiving final files within established guardrails. Work with necessary teams to oversee smooth implementation of new content.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as necessary.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Digital Design, Graphic Design, or related field or equivalent
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Seven+ years of agency / brand work experience
- Strong portfolio showcasing both big-idea campaign thinking and quick-turn social media excellence
- Team player with a positive attitude, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a client-centered approach to work
- The ability to work independently and see projects through to completion. Demonstrates a strong sense of personal accountability
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments and/or clients at once
- Demonstrated proficiency using technology and a wide variety of software applications on a mac-based platform, including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, and Acrobat) and Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Creative problem-solver with an eye for detail. Keen eye for color, fonts, trends, and engaging visual storytelling who has a solid understanding of brand identity systems
- Someone who’s constantly learning and absorbing, possessing a keen eye for pop culture and social media trends
- Willingness to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Willingness to be hands-on, as well as look at the big picture
- Photography experience (Photography, Layout, Composition and Lighting)
- Advanced typography skills
- CPG industry experience
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro
- Working knowledge of Adobe Workfront workflow management system highly desired
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- CPG industry
- Experience with front-end web design, motion graphics, and video production
