We have a great opportunity for an Architect / Interior Designer to join our Philippines Team, based in the Philippines.
This role will see you involved in the preparation of architectural scope and briefing documents, allocate architectural resources by defining time and costs, and assist with production of concepts, sketches, drawings, plans and BIM models for a broad variety of architectural and engineering projects undertaken by the Manila office.
Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Undertake the role of Job Management for specific projects, including monitoring the performance and activities of support staff relative to time and cost budgets
- Prepare conceptual presentation sketches / plans / BIM models / images based on written project briefing or discussions
- Prepare detail drawings based on previous examples or more frequently concept sketch designs utilising advanced knowledge of relevant design, drafting and modelling principles
- Participate in project design discussions with project teams, and assign work within a small team accordingly
- Cross-disciplinary coordination to ensure seamless project delivery
What you will bring to the team:
- 10 years of relevant experience preferably in a consulting industry
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) familiarity with Revit is a plus
- Clear understanding of construction methodologies used on various building types
- Understanding of local building codes and regulations
- Ability to work with other building related disciplines, and provide project specific coordination of work effort e.g. FF&E coordination
- Providing accurate drawings and where applicable calculations
- A working knowledge of the following software packages is desirable, but not essential: Sketch-up, Lumion, 3D Studio Max, Navisworks
- Knowledge on Specification Writing is also desirable
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (office‑based and work‑from‑home)
