Primary Responsibilities:
  • Designing robust and scalable data solutions meeting both functional and non-functional requirements
  • Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture principles, standards, and best practices
  • Maintain awareness of Rx patterns and stay connected with the Enterprise Architecture (EA) team to align with enterprise updates and initiatives
  • Identify emerging trends and assess their applicability to the pillar's technology landscape
  • Create comprehensive architectural designs spanning data management, application services, network infrastructure, and security protocols
  • Develop blueprints for various levels/phases of IT infrastructure
  • Represent the team in the forum of architectural discussions
  • Be able to lead and guide a team on developing solutions that fully integrate and collaborate with existing IT systems to solve complex business solutions
  • Must work collaboratively across diverse groups of business and technical stakeholders
  • Develop the architecture that is supported by Azure ecosystem and transient phases of migration from On Prem systems, in a cost-effective way
  • Conduct code reviews and help team debug any issues they might encounter
  • Identify potential risks related to IT infrastructure and develop strategies to mitigate those risks
  • Plan for disaster recovery, data breach prevention, and system reliability
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:
  • 14+ years of overall Data Engineering work experience, along with 5+ years of experience on Solution Architecture for Data Platforms using Azure public cloud and technologies like Azure
  • Databricks (using PySpark/Scala) / Azure Datafactory architecture and orchestration
  • Experience of working on Streaming technologies such as Azure EventHub/Kafka
  • Experience of working on Real Time data ingestion
  • Experience of providing reporting and analytics solutions
  • Experience of designing Data Schemas/Data Structures that incorporate performance tuning
  • Solid hands-on experience on Data warehousing
  • Knowledge of architectural patterns using scalable ETL frameworks
  • Knowledge of stored procedures and SQL
  • Good understanding of the overall Azure Ecosystem - Azure Storage, Cosmos, Snowflake, Redis, App Insights, and Azure Functions etc.
  • Good understanding of Development processes and tools - Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub
  • Proven solid interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualification:
  • Experience of working on Java solutions
