Are you a rockstar Solutions Architect with a passion for Data and AI? Ready to join a dynamic, fast-paced team at T-Mobile and drive Supply Chain to new heights empowered by Data & AI? We're looking for a talented and innovative Senior Architect to support our transformation journey building a new ERP solution and help us achieve our mission to become a Data-informed, AI-enabled, Digital-first company. This person would play a crucial role in designing and optimizing data architecture systems while navigating tight timelines, complex environments characterized by ambiguity and changing priorities. Knowledge of ERP applications especially of Oracle and SAP is highly valued. As a key steward, the Senior Architect would be entrusted with ultimate accountability, responsibility, and ownership to build outstanding solutions. This position will work very closely Leadership, Principal Architects and Development team members to build out and implement the Platform Strategy.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Owns E2E solution design for data across multiple workstreams in the ERP transformation journey. Will play a key role on the Conceptual Architecture and E2E Solution Architecture document. 
  • Lead the overall technical design and end-to end solution design for assigned initiatives. Ensures quality, consistency and alignment of designs to TMUS standards and digital strategy. Work with application development teams to design and implement data sourcing processes.
  • Provide oversight in standards alignment through reviews of technical artifacts such as Technical Design Documents, Architecture diagrams and Process Flows. 
  • Work with project teams in definition of requirements for integration strategies of their projects into the SAP/Oracle ERP Architecture. 
  • Assist with incident response, solving, root cause analysis, and problem resolution 
  • Partner with leaders of other subject areas to ensure proposed solutions align with information, technology, infrastructure, business and security architectures. 
  • Core Support areas:
    • Design and Build: Develop robust, high-availability, high-performance, and adaptable solutions for latest platforms (Big Data, Relational, No-SQL, OLAP). Require expertise on building complex-performant data views.
    • Data Migration Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive data migration strategy from SAP to Oracle ERP, handling replication tools across hybrid technologies.
    • Data Modeling: Design and optimize conceptual and logical data models to support the new ERP system.
    • System Integration: Ensure seamless integration of Oracle ERP with existing systems and data sources.
    • Data Quality and Governance: Establish data quality standards and governance frameworks to ensure data integrity and security.
    • Performance Optimization: Optimize database performance and scalability to meet business needs.
    • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of data architecture, migration processes, and system configurations.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Work Experience:

  • 4-7 years of experience in data architecture and data migration, with specific experience in SAP and Oracle ERP systems.
  • Extensive experience in data architecture, data modeling, and database design.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in SQL and Oracle databases. (Required) Knowledge on Oracle – AWS Cloud platforms would be a plus.
  • Experience with data modeling tools and techniques. (Required) Implementation of AI/ML solutions would be a plus.
  • Knowledge of data integration tools and ETL processes. (Required)
  • Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks. (Required)
  • Prior development experience – Java, database technologies, Relational no sql technologies (Required)
  • Experience with cloud-based data solutions (e.g., Oracle Cloud). (Preferred)
  • Certification in Oracle or SAP technologies. (Preferred)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). (Preferred)

Base Pay Range: $103,600 - $186,900

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.


At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
