Carnival UK is looking for a Senior Enterprise Architect to join us at a pivotal moment in our digital transformation journey.

As home to some of the world’s most iconic travel brands, we are continuing to evolve the technology landscape that supports our guests, colleagues and long-term business ambitions. Our transformation journey is already well underway, with major strategic investment programmes, evolving business priorities, and an increasingly complex mix of legacy, modern and emerging technology capabilities.

As part of our Enterprise Architecture community, you’ll play a key role in shaping our future-state architecture, guiding strategic technology decisions and helping simplify a complex and changing environment. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, business partners, solution architects, delivery teams and technology leaders to ensure our architecture enables business value, supports innovation and remains aligned to our long-term strategy.

This is a role for someone who enjoys working at enterprise level, can bring clarity to complexity, and is confident influencing across a broad and evolving stakeholder landscape.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the different business models operating across Carnival UK and help shape roadmaps that move us towards a commonly agreed future-state architecture.
  • Influence technology investment decisions and future business capabilities by defining strategic roadmaps and target-state architectures across key transformation initiatives.
  • Work with Solution Architects and delivery teams to ensure designs align to the overall Enterprise Architecture, while identifying opportunities to reduce technical debt and simplify the technology landscape.
  • Partner with business stakeholders and DTO Business Partners early in the conversation to ensure business ambitions translate into scalable, sustainable and strategically aligned architectural outcomes.
  • Help guide major transformation activity across a landscape that includes legacy platforms, modern digital capabilities, large-scale programme delivery and emerging technologies, including AI-enabled solutions.
  • Conduct architecture reviews and audits to assess compliance with strategy, standards and principles, identifying end-of-life or near end-of-life capabilities and supporting longer-term planning.
  • Lead through influence across architecture, engineering, delivery and business teams, building alignment and collaboration without direct line management responsibility.

Positioned within our internal structure from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President), this role is classified as a CUK06 and is offered on a full-time, permanent basis. We offer hybrid working, including up to two days from home.

  • A passion for simplifying technology landscapes while enabling innovation, transformation and sustainable business growth.
