Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Architect (Endpoint Security) in Technology as a part of the Security Architecture Team. As a Senior Security Architect within the Defense & Incident Response domain, you will drive the design and evolution of security architecture initiatives focused on endpoint security and data loss prevention (DLP). This role partners closely with domain customers across Cyber Security Engineering, Governance, and other security teams to develop scalable security solutions, reduce risk, and strengthen the organization's security posture. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in endpoint security along with experience in DLP technologies and controls.
In this role, you will:
- Lead in component architecture and participate in enterprise architecture activity
- Participate in the definition of future technology architecture and strategy
- Develop and maintain business system and corporate architectures
- Review and research complex technology and system assessments for component architecture
- Support implementation of moderate to complex projects and initiatives
- Produce project architecture designs
- Ensure applications adhere to established Wells Fargo standards, policies, methodologies and industry best practices
- Understand compliance and risk management requirements for supported areas
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies and capabilities in order to prepare and respond to customer needs and expectations
- Provide in-depth technical and systems consultation to internal clients and technical management to ensure alignment with the Enterprise Architecture
- Support multiple groups within Information and Cybersecurity and Technology Infrastructure, providing strategic and architecture guidance and collaborating with teams on design and implementation projects.
- Provide thought leadership and guidance with a focus on Endpoint security and mobile security.
- Project consultation and the creation of or contribution to Architecture Specification Documentation.
- Artifact creation in the form of position papers, blueprints, patterns, and reference architectures
- Provide architectural support for product and vendor evaluations for solutions intended to address relevant security threats
- Information security control design
- Development of control solutions intended to address risks identified in static code analysis, dynamic security testing, penetration testing, or other assessments
- Collaboration with cross functional teams to identify the need for security solutions and the architectural requirements
- 4+ years of Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 1+ year of experience with Endpoint protection technologies
- 4+ years of experience in the Cyber Security field
- Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions
- Experience with Data Loss Prevention solutions
- Knowledge of the Crowdstrike suite of solutions
- Experience with Threat Intelligence solutions
- Experience with designing to eliminate or mitigate risk
- Experience evaluating hard and soft controls

- Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$100,000.00 - $179,000.00
