The Role

Our Information Security & Privacy team is focused on delivering enterprise-wide risk, compliance, and business solutions within the Archer platform.  Using both out of the box and on demand applications, the Archer team creates the system functionality needed to achieve holistic integrated risk management.

As the Sr. Archer Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining applications, workflows, workspaces, dashboards, reports and questionnaires in the Archer IRM platform. You will be involved in end-to-end management and configuration of new and existing GRC and business applications including managing and collaborating with business partners on the design, functionality, workflow, user access and presentation of solutions.  This is a subset of the overall responsibilities which involves other multiple initiatives as assigned by Corporate Risk leadership.

This role is hybrid working Monday to Thursday on-site, and remotely on Friday.

How you’ll spend your time:

  • Incorporate basic to advanced features of the development environment using calculations, data-driven events, custom objects, data feed service configurations and the application programming interface (API) in the solution design.
  • Develop case documentation, work with technical resources to document system design and providing technical support for associates using the platform.
  • Provide subject matter expertise for the development and management of Archer applications, system management, version upgrades and change management. 
  • Serve as the Point of Contact with vendor and UMB infrastructure teams as needed on technology upgrades, maintenance, and issue resolution.
  • Support the development and enforcement of Company policies and Archer Standards within the solution as it relates to data security and access controls, data governance and change control.
  • Identify and promote opportunities to standardize, reuse, and optimize GRC applications, processes and data across business units and programs.

We’re excited to talk with you if:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field OR equivalent work experience.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in development, maintenance, testing and support of Archer GRC applications.
  • You have in-depth experience of the Archer development environment: Application Builder, Efficient Form Design, Record/Application Access, Calculated Fields, Data Driven Events, Notification Workflow, Advanced Workflow, Calculated Fields.
  • You have strong understanding of Archer back-office functionality: Access Control, Appearance, Application Builder, Integration, Management Reporting, Notifications, Workspaces and Dashboards.
  • You possess a consultative aptitude to support cross-organizational GRC goals and objectives.

Bonus Points If:

  • You have senior-level experience in recent versions of Archer Applications (version 6x preferred).
  • You have banking or financial industry experience.

Compensation Range:

$69,230.00 - $149,000.00

The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB’s standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
