Senior Applications Development Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Applications Development Analyst to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mexico City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As a Senior Applications Development Analyst at Marsh, you will perform several key functions that are critical for the development, implementation, and maintenance of software applications within an organization.

We will count on you to:

• Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and user needs. This ensures that the developed applications align with organizational goals and user expectations.
• Software Development: Write, test, and maintain application code using appropriate programming languages and tools. This includes implementing new features, fixing bugs, and optimizing performance.
• Testing and Validation: Conduct quality assurance testing to ensure that applications function correctly and meet established standards. This may involve unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Documentation: Develop and maintain technical and user documentation for applications. This facilitates understanding and usage by other developers and end-users.
• Maintenance and Support: Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance for applications, addressing issues and implementing updates as necessary.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other developers, analysts, and project teams to ensure seamless integration of applications within the organization's IT environment.
• Research and Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in software development, seeking opportunities to enhance existing applications and development processes.
• Project Management: Participate in the planning and management of application development projects, ensuring that timelines and budgets are met.
