The roleThis role will support the investment business and related functions by providing stable applications and making sure investment data is reliable, timely and of good quality so the investment business can perform their roles to secure members futures. This role will be a specialist resource for supporting Investment Risk Management (IRM) systems including MSCI Risk Metrics and Ortec Pearl and IRM specific investment data. You will provide proactive support to try and identify issues before they are seen by the IRM team and will aim to become to trusted partner for resolution.

The personWe are looking for a Senior Application Support Analyst, who has previous experience of working in investment management as part of a rapidly changing environment. The successful candidate will have production support experience to meet the varied requirements of our Investment Business. You will look to proactively identify support trends and problematic processes and provide solutions. The role will require someone from a technical background, who has experience within either investment risk or risk performance. Experience of Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Factory would be a distinct advantage as would experience working with PowerBI, Windows Server admin, SFTP and knowledge of Microsoft Azure workloads.

The individual will be expected to act exemplary towards colleagues, expressing a positive can-do attitude and seeking to achieve exceptional standards in service delivery. As well as be an effective communicator, who is keen to resolve application and technical problems with the ability to balance priorities and work to deadlines. This role will suit someone who looks to take a collaborate approach to tasks to ensure best solutions and knowledge sharing.
