Location: Remote in the U.S.
As a Senior Application Support Analyst – Web & Database Systems with customer facing acumen, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our web-based software application used by trade operations and settlement professionals. Leveraging your technical expertise, and communication skills, you will provide all tiers of technical support, troubleshoot issues, and enhance user experience.
Qualifications:
- Experience with various AI tools, understanding and application of AI.
- Deep proficiency in MS SQL Server for effective troubleshooting and software support.
- Hands-on experience with creating, optimizing, and debugging MS SQL Stored Procedures.
- Hands-on experience with MS SQL Reporting Services and Integration Services.
- Hands-on experience with MS SQL DBA tasks, including database creation, backup, restoration, and query optimization.
- Hands-on experience with MS IIS configuration and management.
- Hands-on experience with installing and configuring applications on MS windows servers.
- Exceptional troubleshooting abilities with a track record of timely issue resolution.
- A solid technical background supporting Windows-based web applications.
- Full Stack experience.
- Familiarity with trade operations and settlement processes within financial services (a plus).
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues reported by users, including software bugs, performance issues, and data discrepancies.
- Utilize MS SQL Server for data analysis, troubleshooting, and supporting software functionality.
- Help configure and troubleshoot issues in other applications that are required by our web-based application such as IIS, SQL Reporting Services, SQL Integration Services, SMTP Server, Batch files, and SFTP servers.
- Collaborate with software developers and product managers to escalate and prioritize issues for resolution.
- Serve as a technical support contact for our web-based software application used in trade operations and settlement.
- Help develop and maintain support documentation, including FAQs and troubleshooting guides, to assist users in resolving common issues independently.
- Help conduct user acceptance testing for software updates and enhancements to ensure functionality and usability meet business requirements.
