Senior Application Project Manager

What success looks like in this role:

• Leads and manages large, complex enterprise-level projects consisting of multiple teams and/or requiring integration with other activities outside the normal project scope.
• Represents Unisys to client senior management, ensuring mutual understanding of how Unisys and clients can work together to optimize product application and achieve business success.
• Identifies new program and project opportunities with potentially company-wide impact.
• Leads and oversees project initiation, risk assessment, team startup, execution and post-project review.
• Initiates and leads project / program management process improvement task forces, facilitating and encouraging improvement based on lessons learned and state-of-the-art project management techniques.
• Drives change and continually improves the efficiency and effectiveness of Program / Project Management.
• Sought out by executives to lead or provide advice on important projects

You will be successful in this role if you have:

BA/BS degree and 8+ years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Master’s degree preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication skills is required

5+ years of Project Management experience in an application implementation project is required

Experience managing a public sector project is preferred

Experience managing a Salesforce implementation is preferred

Experience with sub-contractor management is required
