Job Description:
This role will support the Digital Core Program during the BUILD PHASE collaborating and acting as end-to-end solution design authority, ensuring that approved business requirements are translated into systems configuration, enhancement and integration, aligned with GLOBAL template and SAP best practices and Standards.
This position requires a strong balance of process understanding, Solution Design leadership, technical – functional SAP knowledge, cross functional coordination, and delivery accountability. Ensuring scalable, resilient, and high-performing solutions across both project delivery and steady-state operations. Acting as the technical authority for the domain, the role combines hands-on architecture, advanced support, and governance to drive best-in-class standards, stability, and continuous improvement across the SAP Finance landscape (CFIN and PaPM products).
Key Responsibilities:
Provide MARS and STD Functional and Technical knowledge for CFIN/PaPM scope.
Provide Process and Solution design authority across CFIN/PaPM (SAP and all integration within larger eco-systems / edge solutions)
Provide technical leadership during build phases, including design validation, integration strategy, and solution scalability
Act as senior architect escalation point for critical incidents, ensuring fast resolution and root cause elimination
Change Management: Guide and collaborate with configuration teams to validate System set up, documentation and sign off
Promote Fit to Standard and process harmonization
Drive operational excellence by improving system stability, monitoring, and support processes
Ensure MARS supportability requirements (Service introduction gates)
Lead and Support Functional Test, Quality and Governance steps (Cross functional / end to end test/ documentation)
Stakeholder & Delivery leadership: Solution clarification, Impact Communication, support readiness
Identify and drive automation and optimization opportunities across the landscape
Ensure data integrity, reconciliation, and compliance across integrated systems
Contribute to long-term SAP Finance roadmap and strategic evolution
Job specifications and qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Master’s degree or relevant certifications (SAP, Cloud, Architecture) is a plus
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of Finance processes.
5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture or a similar role, with a focus on FI/CO, Central Finance (CFIN) and PaPM.
5+ years of SAP experience, with strong exposure to S/4HANA environments
Knowledge of integration tools and technologies (APIs, Middleware … )
Experience guiding development teams to maintain product and service design integrity, ensuring compliance with global standards and mandated processes.
Familiarity with SAP and non-SAP systems
Ability to collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, Integration, and both technical and non-technical stakeholders to develop and recommend solutions.
Digital Transformation S/4 Deployment – Core process
Solid background in both project delivery (build) and production support
Experience working in complex, multi-system integration landscapes
Technical Skills:
Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO) and Central Finance architecture
Strong knowledge of SAP PaPM modeling and performance frameworks
Experience with AIF, SLT, integration frameworks, and error handling/monitoring
Strong understanding of data replication, reconciliation, and financial postings
Experience with SAP BTP, CDS views, and modern SAP development paradigms is a plus
Knowledge of SAP Fiori, OData, and UI technologies is desirable
Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) and DevOps practices
Strong troubleshooting and debugging capabilities in complex environments
