Responsibilities

As a Senior Applications Engineer for SiC power modules targeting automotive traction and industrial power conversion applications, you are expected to act as a technical authority and system-level expert, building strong and trusted relationships with product development teams and key customer technical stakeholders worldwide. Qualifications

Qualification & Requirement 

The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills and a good understanding of power semiconductor devices and circuits. 

•  Minimum BS degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering 

•  4 years of experience as a power electronics or applications engineer in the power semiconductor industry 

•  Good understanding of IGBTs and SiC MOSFETs in various packages and their characteristics 

•  Good knowledge of power converter topologies

•  Familiarity with automotive and/or industrial power semiconductor standards such as AQG324, IEC, and JEDEC 

•  Familiarity with the use of laboratory equipment, such as digital oscilloscopes, waveform generators, etc. 

•  Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink or other simulation software packages 

•  Good written and verbal communication skills in English
