The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Senior Application Engineer on drink water filtration portfolio, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Leading drive local application engineering support request from business team that solves the most challenging problems facing our customers while building a responsive “customer first” culture.
- Implements strong understanding of our customer/market needs locally, especially as it relates to future market and technology trends and the value Solventum solutions can deliver therein.
- Determines becoming a filtration process and technology expert by developing and maintaining key opinion leader relationships, developing collaborations across Solventum’s customer base, and championing solventum technology and innovation through joint publications, presentations, and active industry engagement.
- Supports local customers, develop and replicate high-impact applications, and manage account activity with our local key account managers and sales professionals.
- Willingness to Work across the relevant Solventum organizations to provide customer insights, support customer-centric sales and marketing activities, and champion upcoming product evaluations at customer sites.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher (Mechanical/environment Engineering/ Science or Engineering discipline) from an accredited institution. AND over five (5) years of Application Engineering/Product Engineering and/or Direct End User Engineering/Technical Support experience in relevant industry is preferred, like water treatment, drink water application or technology etc.
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
- Familiar with general office/drawing/statistical software and with actual experience in project and manufactory is preferred.
- Track record of technical collaborations across internal and external organizations, professional technical conference presentations and peer-reviewed publications.
- Fluently in English, and also speaks either Spanish, Italian, or French etc.
- Current, valid Driver’s License.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Master's degree in a Mechanical/environment Engineering/ Science or Engineering discipline from an accredited institution
- Collaborative interpersonal style with experience in a private, public, government or military environment
- Skills include strong communication, proven ability to develop and maintain productive networks within the Solventum technical community with demonstrated ability to influence.
Work location:
Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to office located either in France, Spain, Italy or UK at least 3 days per week)
Travel: May include up to 50% domestic/international
Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
