This opportunity entails providing expertise in development languages and troubleshooting skills. This position leads communities of practices and enforces technical standards including code, tools and platforms. Acts as an expert resource and works independently to choose methods for work completion, only seeking guidance in the most complex situations.

What You’ll Do:

• Develops and/or configures software of the diverse scope and complexity that requires a specialized depth or breadth of expertise.
• Consults on support calls, applying an independent evaluation of variable factors to resolve issues.
• Designs complex system specifications and documents application/data designs.
• Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends best practices/solutions.
• Leads code reviews on high profile projects.
• Mentors Level I, II and III developers and participates in cross training.
• Develops and reviews SOPs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems and 6 years application development experience, or
• In lieu of education, 10 years application development experience including .Net/C#, T-SQL/SQL, or JavaScript.

• Acts as a subject matter expert in all areas of development.
• Maintains knowledge of multiple domains.
• Applies judgement and reasoning to effectively research market trends. Identifies the most efficient way to integrate trends into existing work.
• Utilizes strong leadership skills to effectively manage complex projects, provide guidance and mentorship to junior colleagues and direct the day-to-day work of the team.

What We Prefer:

• Design of analytic data platforms using Azure data products and services
• Data Ingestion, movement, and transformation in cloud platform.
• Exposure to Azure data platform products/services is a plus:
• Azure Synapse (Pipelines, Notebooks)
• Azure Data Factory
• Python, SQL
• Azure DevOps (Boards/Repos/Pipelines) including git
• Understanding and experience in Dimensional data modeling
• Experience designing and deploying Azure data/integration solutions
• Delta Lake
• Databricks, Apache Spark
• Power BI, Tibco WebFocus, SSRS
• SSAS tabular and multi-dimensional development
• Experience with Azure Infrastructure Setup (including automation via ARM templates)
• Visual Studio, C#/.NET
• Azure Serverless Application platform i.e. Logic Apps/Functions/Power Apps
• Azure Service Bus/Event Hub platforms
