What does your job as a Senior API Analyst & Developer look like?
- Conduct thorough analysis of project requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Develop robust coding standards and translate NN policies into practical development processes in a DevOps environment, with full CI/CD as the ultimate goal.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust applications using C# & .NET and related technologies on Azure Cloud.
- Coach and support onsite and offshore developers, helping them grow in their careers. You will take on the role of functional and technical lead.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
- Communicate professionally with stakeholders at both operational and governance levels.
- Propose structural solutions based on your analysis.
- Report to the IT API Lead, with a high degree of autonomy, in close collaboration with the IT Lead Architect.
How do you fit perfectly in our team?
- You have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, and at least 4 years of experience in .NET development, ideally with C#.
- You have a strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
- You have experience with Azure tools, including DevOps and pipelines, or similar experience with AWS.
- You have a proven ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions, both from a functional and technical perspective.
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- You have a passion for mentoring and helping others grow in their careers.
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and can handle complex and ambiguous situations.
- You have experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- You are proactive, flexible, and customer-oriented, and can adapt to changing business and IT environments.
- You have an affinity for the insurance industry or are willing to learn more about it.
- You are fluent in English, with Dutch being a great asset. A good knowledge of French is a nice additional advantage.
- You have experience working with offshore teams and/or in a multicultural environment.
- You can work under tight deadlines and do not have a 9-to-5 mentality.
