Job Summary

The Senior Accounts Payable Associate oversees and manages the accounts payable process. They ensure accurate and timely invoice processing, reconcile vendor statements, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Job Description

Responsibility

• Managing the accounts payable process, including receiving, verifying, and processing invoices for several countries.
• Reconciling vendor statements and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Communicating with vendors and internal departments to address payment inquiries and issues.
• Maintaining accurate and organized financial records related to accounts payable.
• Assisting in month-end closing activities and providing support for audits as needed, working with accruals.
• Contributing to process and system improvements and efficiency enhancements within the accounts payable function.

Requirements

• Possess a solid foundation of experience in accounts payable or related financial roles
• Have a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Be proficient in using accounting software (e.g. SAP/Oracle...) and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Possess keen attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial transactions
• Have excellent communication skills to interact with vendors and internal stakeholders
• Be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic environment
• Be proactive in identifying and implementing process improvements within accounts payable
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; German is a plus
• Intermediate Czech/Slovak preferred
