Role description: This role is with one of our prominent portfolio (Series A) funded companies
As a Project Manager in our SaaS/AI organization, you will work with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative software solutions that drive business value and customer success. You will oversee the project lifecycle- from requirements gathering and planning to execution, delivery, and post-launch optimization- ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and agile project management skills to navigate the complexities of AI-driven development.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Execution: Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics in alignment with business goals. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for SaaS/AI initiatives
- Assemble and manage cross-functional teams (Sales, marketing, engineering, product, data science, QA, design), ensuring clarity of roles and accountability throughout the project lifecycle. Develop and implement detailed project plans that align with client objectives and organizational standards
- Implement and champion agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) to facilitate iterative development, continuous delivery, and rapid response to change
- Proactively identify potential risks and obstacles, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues to keep projects on track
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project status reports to ensure transparency across all milestones
.Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3–6 years in project management roles, preferably within technology-driven environments
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies; experience in BFSI or startup settings is advantageous
- Proven experience managing software projects, ideally in SaaS and/or AI/ML environments
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), agile methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification preferred.
