Department OverviewFirst responders can be in danger at any moment of any day. Whatever the situation, public safety operations depend on immediate access to the best information available. Saving time and lives. CommandCentral Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) incident and resource management system is transforming public safety and dispatch operations. It streamlines the capture, correlation and real-time distribution of mission-critical information for improved dispatch decision making and increased responder awareness and safety.
CommandCentral CAD teams are responsible for building cloud hosted products that streamlines the capture, correlation and real-time distribution of mission-critical information for improved dispatch decision-making, increased responder awareness and safety as well as smart and context aware information retrieval. The team is responsible for an end to end software development life-cycle that includes development, testing and maintenance of the systems we build.

Job Description
The main Tech Stack: Angular 19+, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, HTML, W3C Web Standards
Responsibilities:
- Making design and implementation decisions.
- Providing technical leadership in problem-solving and decision-making.
- Creating efficient code solutions meeting functional, performance and security requirements.
- Ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices.
Team Leadership and Mentorship:
- Guiding and mentoring team members, including junior developers.
- Helping team growth and motivation.
- Providing feedback in design and code reviews.
- Helping team members develop their technical skills.
- Setting culture of engineering excellence focused on result.
Basic Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Good verbal and written English communication.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Math, or related fields.
- An experienced and hands-on JavaScript programmer (Angular, TypeScript, or any other high-level programming language)
- Practical experience in the development and maintenance of large-scale web applications
- An expert in either Angular or web technologies
- Practical experience in leading the design and architecture of software systems
Would be a plus:
- An experience in automating the deployment of software components
- Experience with hosting and developing applications using public cloud (Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure).
