About the role

Our team is looking for a Senior Angular Developer to contribute to the development of the design system!

Our Mission

We are responsible for the development and deployment of iceberg libraries that enable development teams to apply the design system as easily as possible.

What you'll do here:

  • Take charge of the full development cycle of the Angular design system library:   

- Gather feedback from the library's developer users.
   - Analyze development needs reported by the design team to formulate solution proposals.
   - Translate requirements into technical specifications/software components.
   - Develop system specifications, code, modify, test, and debug an Angular design system library.
   - Write unit and integration tests.
   - Document the work done and prepare release notes.
   - Deploy the library.
   - Provide support and maintenance and resolve complex issues.

  • Master the technical and business features of the system to explain them to other colleagues.

  • Develop, maintain, review, and proactively improve design system components.

  • Support and guide the team in development activities to ensure the quality of delivered code while respecting the delivery cycle.

  • Participate in the implementation of regression testing strategies to improve the stability of application components.

  • Work autonomously.

 

What you bring to the table:

  • 5 or more years of development experience.

  • Analytical and synthesis skills.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Attention to detail and a keen eye for design.

  • Initiative.

  • Ability to work in a team.

  • Experience with monorepos (Nx/Turbo), CI/CD (GitHub Actions/GitLab CI), semantic-release.

  • Knowledge of Cypress or similar for end-to-end testing.

  • Participation in open-source projects or enterprise design systems.

  • Experience in technical documentation (guides, best practices, code examples).

  • Bilingualism (French and English) – Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.

  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
