About the opportunity
As a Senior Angular Developer, you will play a key role in shaping the user experience of our clinical genomics platform. Working on sophisticated, data-intensive applications, you will help build intuitive interfaces that enable scientists and clinicians to transform complex genomic information into actionable insights.
This opportunity offers a high level of ownership, technical influence, and collaboration within an international engineering environment. You will contribute to architectural decisions, mentor colleagues, and help drive front-end excellence as we continue expanding our engineering presence in Cluj.
Your tasks:
Developing scalable, high-performance front-end applications using Angular and TypeScript
Designing and implementing intuitive user experiences for complex scientific and analytical workflows
Creating and maintaining reusable components and front-end frameworks to support product scalability
Collaborating closely with product managers, UX designers, back-end engineers, and data specialists
Optimising application performance for large datasets and interactive visualisation tools
Driving front-end architecture, coding standards, testing strategies, and development best practices
Mentoring team members through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing
Your profile:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Demonstrated experience developing modern web applications with Angular and TypeScript
Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), front-end architecture, and scalable application design
Experience working with state management solutions such as NgRx, RxJS, Signals, or similar technologies
Very important: Data projects, Charting libraries, Reporting
Knowledge of REST APIs and integration with complex back-end services; GraphQL experience is beneficial
Experience building data-intensive applications, dashboards, visualisation tools, or analytical platforms
Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to contribute effectively within international teams
*Expected presence onsite in the Cluj-Napoca office for 3 days per week.
