As we continue to expand our product portfolio, we will be seeking a Senior Android Software Engineer to play a pivotal role in enhancing the capabilities of our mobile SDK.  

 

What you will do:  
 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA and PM, in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.  

  • Develop efficient, resilient, and secure SDKs deployed on millions of devices worldwide.  

  • Create, test, debug, review, and release advanced features for applications and SDKs, prioritizing clean and testable code.  

  • Implement and maintain CI/CD processes to ensure efficient development workflows.  

 

Who you are: 
 

  • Demonstrated expertise in mobile Android development, including a substantial background in Kotlin and Java.  

  • Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON  

  • A strong grasp of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices to create user-friendly, visually appealing applications.  

  • Experience in integrating third-party libraries and APIs into Android applications to enhance functionality and efficiency.  

  • Familiarity with various testing methodologies to ensure the reliability and robustness of software.  

  • Understanding of Android Architecture Components and Androidx, with an emphasis on modern architectural approaches for scalable, maintainable applications.  

  • Familiarity with Android Jetpack libraries is considered advantageous.  

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, conducive to seamless collaboration in team-oriented environments.  

  • A history of supporting and inspiring colleagues, contributing to collective knowledge and skill enhancement within the team.  

 

What Else 

  • The ability to navigate, comprehend, and troubleshoot large and intricate codebases is highly valuable.  

  • Familiarity with SDK development is advantageous and enriches your software engineering toolkit.  

  • A deep understanding of OO and multithreaded programming.  

  • A comprehensive grasp of technical design concepts and various design patterns is essential for crafting elegant and maintainable solutions.  

  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Git flow, and Bitbucket can enhance your effectiveness in collaborative development environments.
