Who we are

You will join a dynamic, international team spread across six countries, including Switzerland, Serbia, and France, where creativity and collaboration thrive. Together, we solve complex challenges, celebrate successes, and continuously learn and grow.

Our mobile products are continuously evolving, and you'll play an important role in shaping the future of Tutti and Anibis mobile apps.
You'll work closely with the entire product team, including colleagues across Mobile, Backend, Product, and Design. Experience across both mobile platforms is highly valued and gives you the opportunity to contribute broadly to our products.

We're a small team that ships fast, openly discusses trade-offs, and cares about doing things right - not just getting things done.

What you'll do

• Build Android features end-to-end - from technical design to production, with real ownership.
• Contribute to mobile product development - primarily on Android, with opportunities to collaborate across both Android and iOS.
• Shape the architecture - contribute to decisions around data layers, state management, modularization, and mobile platform patterns.
• Review and be reviewed - we take code reviews seriously and value honest, constructive feedback in both directions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally - work closely with Product, Design, iOS, Android, and Backend teams.
• Improve what's already there - help drive our ongoing Compose migration and continuously improve the quality, performance, and maintainability of our mobile apps.
• Share your knowledge - contribute to technical discussions, share best practices, and help the team make sound, pragmatic decisions.

What we're looking for

• 4+ years of experience building production Android applications with Kotlin.
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose and real features shipped to production.
• A solid understanding of clean architecture - you understand why layers exist and when it's appropriate to break the rules.
• Experience building or significantly evolving a data layer, including repositories, caching, and error handling.
• Experience with Kotlin Coroutines and Flows, REST APIs, or backend-for-frontend patterns.
• The ability to clearly explain your design decisions to teammates, in pull requests, and during technical discussions.
• A pragmatic approach to balancing code quality, maintainability, and delivery.
• Good English - we're an international team and English is our working language.

Your application will definitely stand out if you have:

• Professional experience with iOS development, ideally using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Experience working on products supported across both Android and iOS.
• Experience contributing to mobile architecture or shared platform decisions.
• Contributions to open-source projects or side projects that demonstrate your engineering craft.

Android experience is essential for this role. iOS experience is a valuable plus, but we don't expect candidates to be equally strong on both platforms.

Hiring Process

2. Meeting with the Hiring Manager, Nikola Cvorovic (1h) - A deeper discussion about the role, your experience, and how we work.

3. Design session (1h)
   Discuss how you would approach a real-world mobile engineering problem and explore your technical thinking.

4. Coding session (1h)
   Pair with one of our engineers on a practical, Android-focused challenge - no trick questions.

5. Team fit & HR (1h 30min)
   Meet more of the team, learn more about how we work, and discuss practical details and logistics.
