Supports accounts payable operations, including invoice validation and processing, purchase order matching, vendor account maintenance, reconciliations, month-end closing, reporting, and discrepancy resolution. After training, independently processes supplier invoices in SAP, manages assigned vendor accounts, communicates with suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensures compliance with controls, and contributes to process improvements.

Job Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

During the Training Period:

  • Learn Accounts Payable processes and company procedures.
  • Support invoice validation and processing activities.
  • Assist with invoice matching against purchase orders and goods receipts.
  • Monitor invoice workflow and follow up on pending items.
  • Support vendor account maintenance activities.
  • Participate in AP month-end closing activities.
  • Assist in supplier account reconciliations.
  • Support AP reporting and KPI tracking.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders and suppliers regarding invoice-related inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.

After Successful Completion of Training

  • Independently process supplier invoices in SAP.
  • Manage assigned vendor accounts.
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Performing activity in Month End Closing
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in:
    • Accounting
    • Finance
    • Economics
    • Business Administration
    • Mathematics/Economics

Recent graduates and final-year students are encouraged to apply.

Experience

  • No previous work experience required.
  • Internship or student practice in accounting or finance is considered an advantage.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good numerical understanding.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong willingness to learn.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Technical Skills

  • Microsoft Excel (basic level).
  • Microsoft Office package.
  • SAP knowledge is an advantage but not required.

Language Requirements

  • English – intermediate to advanced level (written and spoken).
  • German, Italian, Spanish, Hungarian, Polish or other European languages are considered an advantage.
