Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Developer to lead our mobile development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality Android applications that align with user needs and business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Work with outside data sources and APIs.
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Android development.
- Proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
- Experience with Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
Desirable:
- Experience with Android frameworks such as Jetpack.
- Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Advanced English:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
