Senior Android Developer (Freelance or Permanent)

Role

• Build your feature following the project architecture, while collaborating on architectural decisions and ensuring best practices.
• Challenge and implement the designs provided in FIGMA, along with the product guidelines.
• Participate in the product strategy.
• Write robust code to be used by millions of users.
• Take responsibility for the deployment and monitoring of an app serving millions of users.

Our Stack

• Infrastructure: GCP, Kubernetes, Pub/Sub, GitHub actions, and ArgoCD.
• Backend: Go, Node.js (NestJS, Nx, Typescript), database: Spanner, PostgreSQL, Redis.
• Frontend (Android): Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Room / Sqlite database, Flow / Coroutines, ExoPlayer, media3, CameraX, Retrofit, Grpc

Profile

• You have a passion for mass-market mobile apps
• You have 5+ years experience in mobile engineering with Android / Kotlin
• You have experience working with Jetpack Compose.
• You have good knowledge of reactive programming (Flow, Coroutines and Concurrency).
• You have a solid understanding of software design patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVP) and expertise in building modular, scalable app architectures.
• You have a strong affinity for UI & UX and have a product-oriented mindset
• Be fluent in French
• Track record with successful mobile apps, is a plus
• Exposure to Cloud-based architectures (GCP, AWS, ...), is a plus
