We are seeking an experienced Senior Android Developer to join our cross-functional product team which is on the mission to change how our clients use Manychat. We believe that the future of Manychat is mobile, so it’s a very exciting opportunity to contribute to the core value of the product and drive its growth.

This role requires close collaboration with backend, frontend, and iOS developers and designers and active participation in discussions of ideas and solutions.

The ideal candidate understands that product development goes beyond just coding; it's about creating value for the business. We are looking for a developer who believes that technology is a powerful tool to achieve business objectives and always strives for technical excellence.

WHAT YOU'LL DO 🚀

  • Deliver Product Impact: Take charge of developing and maintaining Android applications, prioritizing user experience and product impact. You'll oversee the quality of applications and manage their releases, ensuring our users receive the best possible experience.
  • Drive Collaboration and Decision-Making: Actively engage in meetings, offering insights and inputs to refine the product backlog and foster consensus during decision-making processes.
  • Shape Our Future: Influence the processes in the company, participate in creating and modifying process inside the teams, onboard new employees.
  • Collaborate Strategically: Work closely with other mobile developers and your manager to shape the overall development strategy for the mobile stream, aligning it with product goals.
  • Own Results: Maintain a high level of personal responsibility for the overall result, demonstrating commitment to the team's goals and the product's success.
  • Share Knowledge: Share your expertise with the external community by writing articles for our blog and participating as a speaker at professional conferences.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING 💥

  • 5+ years of experience as an Android developer (Kotlin/Compose).
  • A strong understanding of Android platform and Compose library.
  • Responsibility for the quality of each sprint increment and the overall quality of the product. We believe that the QA function should be done by each member of the team.
  • Capability to work on both technical and product-related tasks.
  • An upper-intermediate level (B2) of English and higher is essential, as we conduct a significant part of our communication in English.
