Position Overview
The Senior Analyst – Sales Operations will serve as a strategic operational partner responsible for translating sales incentive commission plans into robust back-end data processes and converting complex business requirements into data-backed executive insights. This role requires an analytical professional who combines hands-on expertise in Google Sheets, Advanced Excel, Salesforce CRM, data wrangling, pipeline analysis, and CRM hygiene with an AI-forward mindset to streamline cross-functional operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Commissions & Incentive Management: Thoroughly understand business commission plans and architect back-end processes, automated workflows, and data models to accurately capture required inputs, run monthly/quarterly calculations, execute timely plan rollouts, and resolve participant queries with complete transparency.
- Business Requirements & Strategic Reporting: Deconstruct complex business requirements into structured analytical frameworks. Build, set up, and maintain reports and dynamic dashboards that drive data-backed decision-making across key commercial initiatives, including pipeline health analysis, revenue trends, and Salesforce CRM data hygiene projects.
- Data Wrangling & Spreadsheet Modeling: Perform hands-on data manipulation, cleansing, and complex performance/commission modeling using Google Sheets, Advanced Excel and to bridge upstream source data with compensation and reporting systems.
- Salesforce CRM & Reporting: Design, build, and maintain robust Salesforce reports, analytics dashboards, and operational tracking tools to provide key performance visibility to executive leadership.
- Process Optimization: Evaluate end-to-end sales and operational workflows, pinpoint operational friction, and propose scalable solutions to streamline business processes.
- Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management: Serve as a trusted advisor and liaison across Sales, Account Management, Finance, and Business Intelligence (BI) teams, including senior management.
- Innovation & Continuous Learning: Demonstrate a strong drive to unlearn legacy methods, re-learn modern frameworks, and apply AI tools and automation to elevate sales operations workflows.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Commercial Analytics.
- Strong ability to break down high-level business queries into quantitative analyses, actionable insights, pipeline health assessments, and data hygiene improvements.
- Demonstrated track record in interpreting complex commission plans and building back-end data architectures, wrangling pipelines, and financial models to ensure precise calculation and inquiry resolution.
- Advanced expertise in Google Sheets and Excel (complex logic formulas, collaborative sheet automation).
- Hands-on experience in data wrangling and hygiene using spreadsheets alongside analytical tools.
- Hands-on proficiency with Salesforce CRM, specifically building custom reporting modules, data cleanup protocols, and dynamic performance dashboards.
- Strong business acumen with demonstrated experience in business process mapping and operational efficiency projects.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a history of managing relationships with senior cross-functional leaders.
- Forward-thinking mindset with active interest or practical application of AI tools in daily operational tasks.

Skills Required

- Business acumen and experience with business process mapping and operational efficiency projects
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience managing senior cross-functional relationships
- Active interest in or practical application of AI tools for operational tasks
