The position of Commercialization Projects Material Planner reports directly into the Commercialization Manager . T he planner is responsible for the end-to-end materials planning process , ensuring the timely supply and availability of materials to support commercialization projects. This role involves strategic planning, operational execution, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize material flow and minimize supply chain disruptions .
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive materials planning strategies aligned with commercialization project timelines.
- Forecast material demand based on project requirements.
- Optimize inventory levels to balance supply and demand, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.
Operational Execution:
- Material Supply Assurance: ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve supply chain issues.
- Inventory Control: Minimize obsolete and slow-moving inventory through effective inventory management.
- Project Coordination: Actively participate in project follow-up meetings to stay informed about project progress and potential material requirements changes.
Supplier Management:
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality and on-time delivery.
- Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks.
Financial Management:
- Monitor working capital tied up in inventory and implement strategies to optimize cash flow.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain M anagement , Engineering, Business or related field
- 4 + Years Supply C hain experience preferably within FMCG
- S trong knowledge of S&OP , Supply and Material Planning principles
- Proficiency in Supply Chain & Supply Chain P lanning software & tools preferred (OMP, Kinaxis , O9 or SAP APO)
- Proven track record to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence
