Summary:
In this role, you will lead advanced analytics, business intelligence, reporting automation, and data modeling efforts to support purchasing performance, contract utilization, supplier engagement, cost-savings initiatives, and other client priorities. You will apply consultative problem-solving, technical expertise, and data storytelling to influence decision-making, deliver measurable business results, and develop scalable analytical solutions across the GPO/Spend Management organization.
Responsibilities:
Partner with clients to identify spend management priorities and translate business needs into analytical solutions and performance measures.
Analyze purchasing, utilization, contract, supplier, and operational data to identify trends, risks, savings opportunities, and performance improvement initiatives.
Develop, maintain, and monitor KPIs and performance metrics related to business performance, operational effectiveness, financial outcomes, and strategic initiatives.
Build and validate analytical models to support forecasting, opportunity identification, utilization analysis, and strategic decision-making.
Design, develop, and automate dashboards, reports, and scorecards that provide visibility into performance and business outcomes.
Gather, integrate, validate, and prepare data from multiple sources while ensuring data quality, accuracy, and consistency.
Deliver insights and recommendations to clients and business leaders through clear reporting, presentations, and data storytelling.
Collaborate with business, clinical, operational, and technical teams to deliver high-value analytics solutions.
Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, analytical methodologies, and data management practices through automation and continuous improvement.
Manage analytical project priorities and deliverables, document methodologies, and provide training, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
Qualifications:
Relevant degree preferred.
5 or more years of relevant experience required.
Experience analyzing data and translating findings into actionable business recommendations.
Proficiency with SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and data storytelling skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across business, clinical, operational, and technical teams.
Experience supporting spend management, sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or purchasing analytics preferred.
Experience with Python, R, or other analytical tools preferred.
Knowledge of healthcare data, contract utilization, supplier performance, or purchasing analytics preferred.
Experience developing automated reporting and dashboard solutions.
Willingness to travel.
Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $155,500.00.This position is also incentive eligible.
