Job DescriptionThe role
We’re looking for a Senior Product Analytics Manager to set the strategic direction for analytics in our Global Send Experience Squad. You’ll help the squad decide where to focus, which customer problems to solve and how Wise can grow its global money transfer business, which today drives 5% of all cross-border transfers in the world for personal customers.
You’ll work closely with Product, Design and Engineering to lead discovery across the remittance space: building a deep understanding of customer needs, finding the biggest opportunities and turning them into a clear product strategy. You’ll influence decisions across the factors that shape whether customers choose to send money with Wise—including price, speed and convenience—throughout the whole customer lifecycle, from a customer’s first transfer to the choices they make as a returning customer.
You’ll lead a group of senior analysts. Your focus will be on setting the team’s direction and helping the squad make its most important strategic decisions. You’ll coach analysts to partner closely with teams on day-to-day product questions, while staying hands-on with the most complex and consequential opportunities yourself.
You’ll help us answer questions such as:
Where are the biggest opportunities to grow money transfers around the world?
What matters most to customers when they decide where, when and how to send money?
How do price, speed and convenience shape customers’ choices and behaviour?
How could an AI-powered concierge help customers find and complete the right transfer, while making the experience simpler and more personal?
How can we make the experience work better for both new and returning customers?
Which customer problems should we solve to make the biggest difference to growth and customer value?
How should we focus our product strategy to grow our money transfer revenues 10x over the next few years?
What you’ll be doing
Set the strategic direction for the squad. Partner with Product, Design and Engineering to build a clear view of customer needs, market opportunities and the choices Wise should make next.
Lead discovery and opportunity finding. Explore customer behaviour and the end-to-end transfer journey to identify unmet needs, friction and growth opportunities. Help the squad understand not just what is happening, but where it has the greatest opportunity to act.
Influence the whole customer decision. Bring an analytical perspective to how customers weigh price, speed and convenience when choosing how to send money, across both new and returning customer journeys.
Turn opportunities into product priorities. Size customer and commercial opportunities, develop clear points of view and help teams make focused, evidence-based choices about what to build and why.
Lead and develop a group of senior analysts. Set a high bar for analytical thinking and impact, coach analysts in their work and careers, and create the conditions for them to support their teams effectively.
Enable strong day-to-day squad decisions. Coach analysts to work closely with their product teams, bring useful insights into planning and discovery, and help teams learn from product changes and customer behaviour.
Stay hands-on with the most important problems. Work directly on high-impact or ambiguous questions, and guide the team through complex analysis when the strategic stakes are high.
Bring people together around a shared view. Communicate complex evidence clearly, influence senior stakeholders and help cross-functional teams turn strategic choices into action.
What you’ll bring
Experience leading and developing strong analytics teams, including experienced or senior analysts.
A track record of shaping product strategy and business direction through analytics.
Strong product and commercial judgement: you can connect customer needs, product choices, growth and sustainable economics.
Experience leading discovery and identifying high-value opportunities in ambiguous problem spaces.
A deep understanding of product analytics and customer behaviour across acquisition, conversion and retention.
Expertise in using quantitative evidence—including experimentation and causal analysis—to inform decisions, while knowing when the most valuable contribution is defining the right problem or opportunity.
Strong technical analytical skills, including SQL, and the ability to guide reliable, high-quality analytics.
Excellent communication skills: you can make complex ideas clear, form a point of view and bring people with you.
The ability to set long-term direction while staying close enough to the work to help teams make progress.
An interest in international payments and the needs of people sending money across borders.
How you’ll work
You’ll be a strategic partner to the Global Send Experience Squad, working closely with Product, Design and Engineering to understand the space, find opportunities and shape what the squad does next.
You’ll lead a team of senior analysts who work alongside their product teams on day-to-day questions and decisions. You’ll help them connect that work to the squad’s broader strategy, share insights across teams and keep the focus on the customer and business outcomes that matter most.
Why this role matters
Sending money across borders is at the heart of Wise. By helping us understand what customers need and setting a clear direction for how we serve them, you’ll shape the choices that make Wise the best way to send money—at every stage of the customer journey.
You’ll help us grow our money transfer business while making it easier, faster and more affordable for customers around the world. For everyone, everywhere.
