Senior Consultant, Data & Analytics for Asset Managers

This role will have an emphasis on:
- Leading client engagements
- Strategic Data Modeling and Architecture
- Creating end-to-end data pipelines
- Building customized and interactive analytical applications and dashboards
- Constructing quantitative trading and investment tools

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with client investment teams to translate investment process requirements into robust, automated tools and data products
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable data platforms (Data Warehouses, Data Lakes) and end-to-end data pipelines.
- Develop and optimize production-grade code (Python/Spark) for data transformation and financial analysis
- Provide technical and project leadership, ensuring efficient delivery and adherence to data governance/integrity standards
Experience:
- Minimum of 7+ years of hands-on experience in a technical or analytical role (Quant, Quant/Dev, Data Scientist, or Data Engineer). A minimum of 5 years is required for highly exceptional candidates
- (experience at top Technology or Strategy Consulting firms considered on a case-by-case basis)
- Demonstrated experience in project leadership, ideally overseeing technical delivery from inception to production
Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on data
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Empathetic and able to understand clients and teammates
- Deep understanding of data modeling and data warehousing principles
- Mandatory proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) and advanced SQL query optimization
- Experience with at least one major Cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and associated data services (e.g., Snowflake/Databricks)
- Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow)
- A passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest data technologies

- Total Compensation (All Cash): $300k - $600k+ (function of experience and capability)
